The difference between anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins
Anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins have anti-oxidation, anti-radiation, anti-aging, protection of vision, and improve sleep, because the colors are purple, so many people will confuse the two, can not distinguish between anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins.

1. First of all, from the chemical structure, anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins are two completely different substances. Proanthocyanidins are polyphenols and anthocyanins are flavonoids. 2. 3. In addition, anthocyanins differ from the regions in which proanthocyanidins are present. Proanthocyanidins are widely found in the skin, shells and seeds of plants, such as grape seed, apple peel, peanut skin, and cranberry; anthocyanins are widely found in such as blueberries, cherries, strawberries, grapes, black currant, mulberry, etc. Among them, three kinds of purple-red cornflower pigment, orange-red geranium pigment, and blue-violet delphinidin pigment are common in nature.
